Interior Design
Alula Blu is specifically designed with mental health in mind. The contrasting shades of blue, beige, brown and white, are all tones found in nature on earth. These hues have much shorter wavelengths than brighter colours, meaning they cause much less stimulation. This helps to reduce stress and aid in self-regulation. Alula Blu’s interior design considers the context of sensory sensitivities, and how a particular colour palette impacts thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Both beige and blue evoke feelings of comfort and calm, and can be used to create warmth in a room. These colours are often used in spaces designed for relaxation and tranquillity, such as meditation and wellness spaces.
Our Schedule
It is imperative that clients stick to the schedule, i.e., the time slots provided, so that the ebb and flow of client appointments remains running smoothly.
As a reminder, the time slots include:
9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm.
If you arrive at your appointment early and the sign still says, “In session, please do not disturb,” please do not ring the bell or attempt to enter the building. Every client’s time needs to be respected.
Confidentiality
Anything that is said during a session remains confidential. All files and notes containing sensitive information are kept locked away and secure. There are a number of instances where confidentiality can be broken. This is when a file is subpoenaed by a court of law, or under exceptional circumstances as outlined in the ACA Code of Conduct.
Exceptional Circumstances
If your therapist is given reason to believe that you are in danger, a danger to yourself, or others. This includes third parties.
For example; If your therapist learns that somebody else in your life is being subject to abuse of any nature, under mandatory reporting laws the therapist has a legal and ethical obligation to report such incidents to authorities.

Counselling fees have been carefully considered to ensure accessibility to a broader demographic of people as possible, for sustainable therapy. Furthermore, you would not be limited with the number of sessions offered to you, as would be the case under a MHCP. The session fees remain the same and there are no limitations to the amount of sessions you may have.
